Marian dressed her little one in a vibrant Ankara print, complete with a crown and a beautiful beaded necklace. The backdrop was equally captivating, adorned with natural elements that reflect African culture. There’s a basketry seat, two black vases – one holding a lush green plant symbolizing harmony with nature, and the other, an African claypot with a touch of gold. In front of the princess, a heart-shaped tray overflows with fresh fruits, including the indigenous “dohwe.” And to top it all off, a bunch of sugarcane, known as “svinga renzimbe” in Shona, adds a local flair.
