Mekitzi, a Bulgarian Pastry. 2 days ago was a Friend’s late mom’s birthday. And it is a tradition that one prepares a meal and shares it with others in memory of their departed beloved. Today this Bulgarian friend of mine brought me Mekitzi to eat in memory of his mum. Apparently, people are have to use white cheese.
